Overall condition: Good. The inscription is legible.

Description:

An oblong white marble tablet with a moulded cornice at the top and an inverted moulded cornice and two brackets at the bottom. The gilded inscription is incised in upright capital roman lettering.

8th July, 1966: The memorial was listed Grade II*, Heritage List for England number 1108926.

18th August, 2008: The memorial was surveyed by Roy Branson and Alan Willmot. It was in good condition.
