Overall condition: Fair. The inscription is legible.


Description:

A Cornish granite pillar surmounted by a small cross and situated on a pedestal, plinth and base. The plain wheel cross has tapered limbs and the square tapered pillar has a fylfot cross in relief at the head of the 6 and 12 o'clock faces. The square pedestal has a high chamfered top and is on a square plinth surmounting a two-stepped sandstone base. The inlaid inscription is in upright capital block lettering.

History
1920-21: the memorial cost £900. The sandstone base of the memorial was constructed from slabs removed from the chancel when the floor was rebuilt.

18th September, 1921:The memorial was unveiled by Victor Cavendish, 9th Duke of Devonshire, and dedicated by Rev F H Burnside, Rector.

2nd September, 2016: The memorial was surveyed by Roy Branson and Alan Willmot. It was in fair condition.
