Location details:
The road may be un-named but is the northwards extension of Main St beyond the junction with Church La. The church is on the east side of the road and the memorial is on the north wall of the north aisle.

Overall condition: Fair. The inscription is legible.


Description:

A brass plaque on an oaken backboard. The plaque is in the style of a patyonce wheel cross and bears an incised inscription in upright capital letters coloured black with rubricated initials. The backboard is of a similar shape with chamfered edges.

Adjacent to the memorial are photographs and biographical notes relating to Sgt Pickford..

12th July 1967: The church was listed Grade II*, Heritage List for England number 1109264.

27th July 2016: The memorial was surveyed by Roy Branson and Alan Willmot. It was in fair condition.
