Location details:
The church is on the north side of the road in the centre of the village. The gravestone is north of the nave.

Overall type: Addition to gravestone.


Overall condition: Fair. The inscription is legible.


Description:

An addition to the lettering on a stone on a family grave. The tall limestone headstone has a pointed arch top, recessed sides and clasped hands and angels in relief in panels at the head. The inscription is inlaid in mainly upright capital lettering. The headstone surmounts an oblong stone base with bevelled top and the mason's name inlaid on the end, and it is accompanied by plain oblong kerbs with narrow chamfers on the top edges.

2nd March, 2009: The memorial was surveyed by Roy Branson and Alan Willmot. It was in fair condition.
