An oval white alabaster tablet with a relief depiction of the baptism of Jesus, in an oval ebony frame with domed glass cover.

Church officers advise that the minutes contain an application to the church for permission to apply for a faculty for the tablet which is described as a memorial to Lt Greenfield.

A rock in the foreground of the scene contains the letters JUSTIN.M. which may be the artist's mark.
