27th November 2017: The memorial was surveyed by Roy Branson and Alan Willmot. It was in fair condition and cared for.

Comments
It is arguable that this may not be a war memorial because no military involvement is mentioned in the inscription, but Cpl Riley is known to have been killed in action in Afghanistan so it is included here with the benefit of doubt.
