History
1940s: The memorial was installed in the original building of Tupton Hall Grammar School.

1969: After considerable rebuilding and extension, the school was redesignated as a comprehensive school and renamed Tupton Hall School.

Spring 2003: The school moved to new buildings east of the old ones within the same campus, and the old buildings were demolished. The memorial is presumed to have been remounted in its present position then.

28th July, 2015: The memorial was surveyed by Roy Branson and Alan Willmot. It was in good condition.
