Location details:
On the southern side of the churchyard near the wall to the footpath to the cemetery. The A61 is called Chesterfield Rd on some maps.

Overall condition: Fair. The inscription is legible.


Description:

An addition to a headstone on a family grave. The memorial comprises a battered granite headstone with a heavy pediment and base, accompanied by kerbs. The pediment has a reverse curved top and a motif of clasped hands in relief in a panel on the face. The face of the headstone has a narrow incised border and the inscription is incised in upright capital block lettering. The oblong base has a bevelled top and the oblong kerbs are chamfered.
