Overall condition: Fair. The inscription is legible and the memorial appears to be cared for.

Description:

An addition to the lettering on a family gravestone which comprises a roughly dressed grey granite formy wheel cross on a three stepped base accompanied by oblong kerbstones. The inscription is inlaid in upright capital block lettering in dressed panels on the 6 o'clock face of the cross and base.

GREAT WAR IN EGYPT & FRANCE & FELL IN ACTION ON THE
SOMME 1ST JULY 1916 & IS BURIED AT WIMEREUX. AGED 21.
