Overall condition: Good. The inscription is legible.


Description:

A white marble tablet on a slate backboard. The oblong tablet has a segmental arch top and a raised nailhead border. The incised inscription is in different styles of mainly capital lettering coloured black with rubricated initials. The backboard is a plain oblong of grey slate.

August 2010: The memorial lies within the Clay Cross Conservation Area designated on that date.

16th May, 2013: The memorial was surveyed by Roy Branson and Alan Willmot. It was in good condition.
