Overall type: Addition to gravestone. Overall condition: Fair. The inscription is legible.


Description:

An addition to the lettering on a family gravestone. The memorial comprises a round grey granite finial and square plinth on a square pink granite pedestal and plinth, all surmounting a stone base and accompanied by oblong stone kerbs. The inscription is incised in upright capital roman lettering on the 6 o'clock face of the pedestal. However, the finial has become detached and has been laid on the surface of the grave.

18th April, 2018: The memorial was surveyed by Roy Branson and Alan Willmot. It was in fair condition and the inscription was legible.
