Location details:
The park is on the east side of the road. The memorial is on the path next to the Heanor war memorial plaque.

Overall type: Bench Overall condition: Fair. The inscription is legible.


Description:

A metal bench painted black. The perforated backrest depicts a group of four infantrymen on patrol near a barbed wire fence. To the right of the image is a trellis bearing a metal plaque and to the right of that is a silhouette of a cluster of red poppies. The seat comprises metal rails and the brushed metal oblong plaque bears a black inscription in sentence case block lettering.
