Description:
An addition to the lettering on a family gravestone. The low sandstone headstone is in the style of an open book with an inlaid inscription in mostly upright capital block lettering. A further oblong tablet towards the foot of the grave bears an inscription in similar style. Both stones are slightly inclined and are supported by stone stands. They are accompanied by oblong sandstone kerbs with further inscriptions on broad the chamfered faces, and with the maker's details at the foot, however the long kerbs have been disturbed and one has been overturned.
