Description:
An addition to the lettering on a family gravestone which comprises a low black polished granite headstone with a shallow arch top, rounded shoulders and sprays of foliage to each side. The gilded inscription is incised in mainly upright capital, roman lettering. The headstone is accompanied by oblong black granite kerbs.

ALSO STEPHEN HOWARD THE DEARLY LOVED SON OF THE ABOVE WHO DIED ON MILITARY SERVICE AT TEL-EL-KEBIR. EGYPT. ON SEPT. 8. 1941. AGED 22 YEARS. UNTIL THE DAY BREAKS.
