Description:
A traditional temporary well dressing tableau made from flowers and other vegetation pressed into clay held in a wooden frame comprising an arch with side panels and a recessed panel at the centre. The central and two side panels each depicted a landscape with poppies in the foreground, that in the centre also featured an infantryman in WW1 field dress with a rifle slung over his shoulder. Finials at the head and to each side bore a small circular depiction of a war cemetery with a poppy superimposed and the support of the central one bore three small wooden remembrance crosses with poppies, on a green ground. The main arch, the surround to the central panel and the foot of each panel bore inscriptions in grey sentence case sloping lettering on a pale blue ground.
