Location details:
The roll of honour is in a niche on the west wall of the nave, behind the door from the porch.
Type
Overall type: Roll of honour Overall condition: Fair. The inscription is legible and the memorial is cared for.


Description:

A framed and glazed roll of honour. The roll is a standard commercial design printed in red, green and gold, with a royal crown over a laurel frond at the head and with a border of laurel leaves surrounding a blank panel into which is handwritten the names in a single column. The printer's name and address is given in the lower margin. The frame is an oak moulding and the whole is suspended on the wall by a metal chain.

History and Conservation
1921: The blank roll of honour was printed by McDougall's Educational Co Ltd and compiled and installed by the vicar and churchwardens.

19th July, 1985: The church was listed Grade II, Heritage List for England number 1335036

10th October, 2011: The memorial was surveyed by Roy Branson and Alan Willmot. It was in fair condition and cared for, although the lower edge of the frame was becoming detached.

22nd August, 2019: The memorial was resurveyed by Roy Branson and Alan Willmot. It remained in fair condition and cared for, although the lower edge of the frame was becoming detached.
