Overall condition: Fair. The inscription is legible.
|
A nowy-headed brass plaque in an oaken frame. The plaque has a thin line border, the badge of the Sherwood Foresters Regiment incised at the head and a roundel at the foot containing a depiction of the head of the regimental mascot ram. The incised inscription is in upright capital decorative and block lettering, coloured black with rubricated initials. The narrow frame has a simple moulding design.

12th July, 1967: The church was listed Grade I, Heritage List for England number 1215255.
2nd September, 1981: The church lies within the Tideswell Conservation Area first designated on that date.
29th January 2014: The memorial was surveyed by Roy Branson and Alan Willmot. It was in fair condition.
