Overall condition: Fair. The inscription is legible.

|
Description:
An addition to the lettering on a sandstone headstone on a family grave. The upright headstone has a rounded arch top, a thin incised border punctuated around the head, recessed sides and an incised inscription mainly in upright capital roman lettering. It surmounts an oblong sandstone base with a bevelled top.

ALSO JAMES WM. SHAW, SON OF THE ABOVE, WHO DIED APRIL 11TH 1937, AGED 74 YEARS. ALSO SARAH BELOVED WIFE OF JAMES WM. SHAW DIED 10TH. NOVR. 1949 AGED 86 YEARS ALSO OF FRED SHAW WHO DIED FEBRUARY 23RD. 1871 AGED 11 WEEKS. "For of such is the kingdom of heaven." ALSO HUBERT SHAW, SON OF JAMES WM & SARAH SHAW, KILLED AT DELVILLE WOOD, FRANCE, AUG. 24TH 1916, AGED 28 YEARS.
