Overall condition: Fair. The inscription is legible.


Description:

An addition to the lettering on a family gravestone. The tall sandstone headstone has a pointed arch top with a broad border, recessed sides and an incised inscription in upright capital block letteringt.

Although Pte Walter Black is named on this gravestone, this is his CWGC War Grave so this is not classified as a war memorial according to the definition adopted by most heritage organisations.
