History
|
August 2010: The memorial lies within the Clay Cross Conservation Area designated on that date.
16 May, 2013: The memorial was surveyed by Roy Branson and Alan Willmot. The memorial had been renovated in recent years with new brickwork underpinning the kerbs. The upper detail, perhaps a cross or finial, had been lost but the remainder was in good condition despite a crack at the base of the pillar and some letters missing from the inscription.
