Location details:
The village name was changed from Bugsworth to Buxworth in 1930. Both names now seem to be used interchangeably.
The hall is on the southeast side of the road.

Overall type: Hall. Overall condition: Fair. The inscription is legible and the memorial is cared for.


Description:

A stone and slate community hall with a painted wooden nameboard suspended on the frontage and a circular metal plaque attached to the northwest face.

History and Conservation
1922: The club was founded.

1939: The club was reported to be poorly patronised.

2018: Chinley, Bugsworth and Brownside Parish Council paid for the circular plaque to be placed on the front of the building.

28th March, 2019: The memorial was surveyed by Roy Branson and Alan Willmot. It was in fair condition and cared for.
