Overall type: Addition to gravestone. Overall condition: Fair. The inscription is legible.


Description:

An addition to the lettering on a family gravestone. The tall limestone headstone has a pointed arch top, rebated borders ornamented with punctuation, with foliage in relief at the bottom, and with the inlaid inscription in upright capital block lettering. It surmounts an oblong base with bevelled top and is accompanied by oblong kerbs. However, the conjoined headstone and base have been laid flat on the surface of the grave.
