Description:
An oblong white marble tablet with a moulded border formed from a repeated square fleuron motif with the ground picked out in gold, and an inscription incised in upright capital block lettering infilled in black.

Inscription
THIS TABLET IS ERECTED TO RECORD AND HAND DOWN TO FUTURE GENERATIONS, THE NAME OF ROBERT HENRY COLVILE, OF KEMPSEY HOUSE, WORCESTER, COLONEL OF THE 12TH. REGIMENT OF INFANTRY, AND FORMERLY COMMANDING HER MAJESTY'S SCOTS FUSILIER GUARDS; TO WHOSE PIETY, AND MUNIFICENCE ARE MAINLY DUE, THE CHURCH, SCHOOLS, AND VICARAGE HOUSE, THE ASSIGNMENT OF THE DISTRICT, AND THE ENDOWMENT OF THE BENEFICE OF HAZELWOOD; BY WHICH WORKS "HE BEING DEAD, YET SPEAKETH," HE DIED NOVEMBER 1ST. 1876, AGED 80 YEARS. PONENDUM CURAVIT, BENEFICIORUM MEMOR, PASTOR PRIMUS.
