History and Conservation
|
December 2001: The land lies within the Buffer Zone of the Derwent Valley Mills World Heritage Site formally inscribed in that month.
22nd June, 2008: The plaque was unveiled by Nicola Parkin, former fiancée of the late LAC Martin Beard.
12th September, 2008: The memorial was surveyed by Roy Branson and Alan Willmot. It was in good condition.
