Overall condition: Fair. The inscription is legible.


Description:

An addition to a headstone on a family grave. The white marble headstone is in the style of a scroll unfurled over a wall with a pillar to the left bearing a palm leaf in relief. The inscription is inlaid on the face of the scroll in mixed styles of upright lettering. The headstone surmounts an oblong base and is accompanied by decorative oblong white marble kerbs incorporating a vase.

The maker's name is inlaid on the foot of the kerbs and a metal number plate is on the grave surface.
