Overall type: Addition to gravestone.


Overall condition: Fair. The inscription is legible.


Description:

An addition to a stone on a family grave comprising a white marble cross on a three-stepped base. The cross has a Christograph at the centre, the badge of the Royal Welsh Fusiliers at the top, and the intials R and F to the sides, all in relief. The steps each have shallow bevels at the top and bear the inscription on the 6 o'clock faces inlaid in upright, mainly capital block lettering. The memorial is accompanied by oblong kerbs with the makers' details inlaid at the foot.

8th January, 2018: The memorial was surveyed by Roy Branson and Alan Willmot. It was in fair condition.
