Location details: The cemetery is on the south side of the road opposite St John the Baptist's Church in the centre of the village. The memorial is in the older section, about half way along the hedge separating it from the new section, and close to the hedge..

Overall condition: Fair. The inscription is legible.

Description:
An addition to the wording on a family gravestone. The tall, grey, limestone headstone has a pointed arch top with moulded borders, recessed sides with attached colonettes and a floral design in relief in a crescent-shaped panel at the head. Most of the inscription is inlaid in a recessed panel on the face, and is in upright capital block lettering and sentence case gothic lettering, with some lettering around the edges. The headstone surmounts an oblong base with bevelled top and is accompanied by oblong kerbs.

August 2009: The memorial was surveyed by Roy Branson. The headstone was leaning but seemed stable and the memorial was otherwise in fair condition.
