Overall type: Addition to gravestone Overall condition: Fair. The inscription is legible.


Description:

An addition to the wording on a family gravestone. The tall, oblong, limestone headstone is nowy headed with recessed and chamfered sides and has a Christograph in a foliated oval in relief at the head. A horizontal foliated frieze runs through the oval and a narrow incised border drops from it on both sides. The inscription is inlaid in mixed styles of mainly upright capital lettering. The headstone surmounts an oblong stone base with bevelled top on oblong kerbs with the mason's details inlaid at the foot.
