| Description: A recumbent oblong metal plaque with a narrow white border, a small white latin cross at the head and an inscription in upright capital roman lettering coloured white. The plaque was mounted on an oblong concrete backboard on a sloping concrete and stone base. Glossary |

History and Conservation
1st February, 1972: The Barlborough Conservation Area was first designated. The memorial was within it.
c2010?: The memorial was removed.
10th October, 2012: The memorial site was visited by Roy Branson and Alan Willmot and the memorial found to have been replaced
