Location details:
In the tower: the bell is in the bell chamber and the plaque is in the ringing chamber. Please note, however, that there is no public access to the tower.

Description:

A church bell and accompanying information plaque.
The bell is cast in bellmetal (a form of bronze) and bears an inscription in raised upright capital roman lettering.
The oblong plaque also has an inscription in raised upright capital roman lettering and an accompanying paper account of the bells is displayed in a wooden frame.

History and Conservation
May, 1947 (approx): The memorial was unveiled.

26th September, 1977: The church was listed Grade II, Historic England list number 1088305.

November, 1977: The Old Whittington Conservation Area was first designated and the church lies within it.

18th April, 2023: The memorial was surveyed by Roy Branson and Alan Willmot. It was in good condition.
