The church is at the rear of the Parish Centre. The memorial is on the altar of the side chapel at the west end of the south aisle.

Inscription

This Cross was made by a Burmese Christian and was carried by the Rev'd.
Sydney Thomas Lewis, Vicar of Christ Church, Chesterfield, 1939-1947, who
was Chaplain to the Forces in the Far East, 1939-1945, and was used by him
during his Ministrations.
