Description:
An addition to the lettering on a headstone on a family grave. The tall white marble headstone has a pointed arch top with a moulded border, recessed sides and a large spray of flowers in relief in a crescent-shaped panel at the head. The inlaid inscription is mainly in upright capital block lettering. The headstone originally surmounted an oblong base with bevelled top but it has been broken off and set into the ground adjacent to the grave. It is accompanied by oblong kerbs but these have been displaced and overturned.
