An addition to the lettering on a headstone on a family grave. The tall white marble headstone has a rounded top with rounded and stepped shoulders, and recessed sides. At the head is a cross and intertwined cord in relief in a quatrefoil panel within a roundel, and to each side are sprays of flowers and foliage in relief in two polygonal panels. The inlaid inscription is in different styles of mainly upright decorative lettering. The headstone surmounts an oblong base with bevelled top and is accompanied by oblong kerbs but these have been broken and displaced.
