Description:
An addition to the lettering on a headstone on a family grave. The tall white marble headstone has a pointed arch top with moulded and punctuated borders, a hand in relief in a roundel at the head and an inscription inlaid in mixed styles of upright lettering. The headstone is accompanied by plain oblong kerbs.

NOTTS. AND DERBYS. KILLED IN ACTION IN FRANCE JULY 1ST. 1916 Aged 19 Years ALSO SARAH WIFE OF THE ABOVE DIED JULY 29TH 1936, AGED 74 YEARS. RE-UNITED.
