Overall condition: Fair. The inscription is legible.


Description:

An addition to the lettering on a headstone on a family grave. The tall white marble headstone has a pointed arch top, recessed sides and a spray of foliage in relief in a crescent-shaped panel at the head. The inscription is inlaid in mainly upright capital lettering. The headstone surmounts an oblong white marble base with a bevelled top.

History
13th September, 2017: The memorial was surveyed by Roy Branson and Alan Willmot. It was in fair condition although some lettering was missing or damaged and there appeared to be a long crack near the bottom right corner of the headstone.
