Description:
An addition to the lettering on a headstone on a family grave. The tall sandstone headstone has a decorative top, recessed sides, and an incised inscription in mainly upright capital lettering with the maker's name incised at the foot. The headstone is accompanied by oblong sandstone kerbs.

ALSO EDWIN, THEIR SON, BORN JULY 27TH. 1881, KILLED AT VLAKFONTEIN, SOUTH AFRICA, MAY 29TH. 1901. GONE BUT NOT FORGOTTEN. ALSO THE ABOVE NAMED HANNAH MARIA SPOONER, WHO DIED JULY 19TH. 1907, AGED 71 YEARS. THY WILL BE DONE.
