Description:

A stained glass window accompanied by a wall-mounted board.
The four light stained glass window has three quatrefoil and three small trefoil lights above, all containing intricate and delicate imagery. At the centre of the top quatrefoil is a white dove of peace and the two lower ones each contain an angel holding a horizontal scroll bearing a biblical text. The four trefoil-headed main lights each contain, at the head, a delicate but imposing image suggestive of a stone tower with flanking walls. Below are four christan warriors and at the foot are two angels holding a horizontal scroll bearing the dedication in upright sentence case gothic lettering. The first (left) light illustrates St George wearing gold armour, a white mantling and a golden cloak. He is holding a lance with which he is slaying a red dragon at his feet. The second light depicts King Alfred wearing a gold tunic and red cloak, and holding a lance and shield. The third light depicts St Margaret holding a cross and a book. She is wearing gold and white robes and a green cloak. Finally, in the fourth light, the Black Prince is wearing dark armour, a red cloak and a chainmail helmet. He is holding a sword of peace and a blazoned shield.
The horizontal oblong nowy-headed board has a latin cross at the head, the dedication across the top, and names arranged alphabetically in seven columns below. The lettering is in upright capital block lettering and, together with the cross, is painted in black.
