Location details: The building is at the junction with Baslow Rd or New Rd. The roll of honour is inside, on the wall of the main room. The existing WW1 roll was moved to the left and the WW2 roll added to make a pair.

Overall condition: Good. The inscription is legible and the memorial is cared for.

Description:
A framed and glazed roll of honour. The roll has a thin red line border with clusters of red poppies in the top corners and the names of those who died in a single columnn at the head. The names of those who served are given in three columns below, with all inscriptions in black mixed case roman lettering. The frame is of wooden moulding with a repeated decorative motif.

17th April, 1951: The memorial lies within the Peak District National Park designated on that date.
8th November, 2014: The memorial was unveiled by His Grace Peregrine Cavendish KCVO CBE DL, 12th Duke of Devonshire; dedicated by local clergy and surveyed by Alan Willmot.
