Description:
Additional wording on a granite ledger on a family grave. The plain oblong ledger bears a plain latin cross in a roundel at the head and an incised inscription in different styles of capital lettering. The headstone is accompanied by plain oblong granite kerbs.

SON OF THE ABOVE WHO WAS KILLED IN ACTION AT BAPAUME MARCH 22ND. 1918 AGED19 YEARS. UNTIL THE DAY BREAKS AND THE SHADOWS FLEE AWAY ALSO OF RICHARD BRITLAND WHO DEPARTED THIS LIFE MARCH 4TH. 1933. AGED 69 YEARS. AT REST ALSO OF THEIR DAUGHTER. DORA JANE WALKER NEE BRITLAND DIED MARCH 26TH. 1955. CREMATED MARCH 30TH. AT SHEFFIELD AGED 60 YEARS. REST IN PEACE
