Location details:
The church is on the south side of the road. The gravestone is at the extreme western end of the graveyard, leaning against the boundary wall.
Type
Overall type: Addition to gravestone Overall condition: Poor. The inscription is legible but the memorial is neglected.


Description:

An addition to the wording on a family gravestone. The sandstone headstone has a flat top with a moulded edge and repeated mouldings below it. The face bears a moulded arch containing the inscription incised in upright capital block lettering originally coloured black but now much faded.

History and Conservation
November 1968: The Ashbourne Conservation area was first designated. The memorial lies within it.

18th September, 2019: The memorial was surveyed by Roy Branson and Alan Willmot. The headstone was in poor condition although the inscription was legible.
