Overall condition: Good. The inscription is legible and the memorial is cared for.

Description:
An oblong white marble tablet surmounted by a wooden coat of arms. The tablet has a design in relief at the head comprising an officer's sword, a cap, sprays of laurel and oak foliage and an unfurled Union Flag. The incised inscription is in different styles of capital lettering coloured black with rubricated initials. The tablet is mounted on an oblong grey granite backboard. The coat of arms is on a square wooden panel with a triangular head containing a small emblem and supported by a scroll on each side, also containing the same emblem.

Unknown date c1920: The memorial was erected in the church.
13th September, 1967: The church was listed Grade II*, Heritage List for England nember 1109352.
16th August, 2011: The memorial was surveyed by Roy Branson and Alan Willmot. It was in good condition and cared for.
3rd July, 2019: The memorial was rephotographed by Roy Branson. It was in good condition and cared for, although the rubricated initials had darkened and were barely distinguishable from black.
