A sandstone monument comprising a patonce cross on a shaft, pedestal and base. The cross is octagonal in section, with the four principal faces flat and the diagonal faces hollowed, and it surmounts its own short octagonal moulded plinth. The tapered shaft is similar in section but has fleurons in relief spaced along the hollowed faces, with incised foliage between. The shaft also surmounts its own moulded plinth, this time square in plan. The pedestal has an octagonal moulded capstone with hollowed soffits containing pairs of foliage motifs around the perimeter. The canted dado has hollowed corner faces and the main faces bear inscriptions and names incised in capital uncial lettering coloured black, within incised decorative borders. The pedestal is completed with a canted square moulded plinth. The square base has three steps, the top one of which has a bevelled top.
The monument is set in a garden containing shrubberies and paved paths, all surrounded by railings atop a dwarf wall.
