Location details:
The church is on the north side of the road in the centre of the village. The plaque is inside the church, on the south wall of the nave.
Type
Overall type: Plaque Overall condition: Fair. The inscription is legible and the memorial is cared for.


Description:

A trapezoidal cast metal plaque in an oblong white and brown mottled alabaster frame. The plaque has the badge of the Queens Own Royal Regiment Staffordshire Yeomanry at the top left and the inscription is in upright raised capital lettering. The frame has a moulded border and a decorative design on three sides, with three roses at the head.

History and Conservation
13th September, 1967: The church was listed Grade I, Heritage List for England reference 1109764.

August 1970: The Norbury Conservation Area was first designated, and the memorial lies within it.

15th September, 2011: The memorial was surveyed by Roy Branson and Alan Willmot. It was in fair condition and cared for.
