Location details:
The church is on the north side of the road in the centre of the village. The tablet is inside the church, on the floor of the sanctuary.
Type
Overall type: Tablet Overall condition: Fair. The inscription is legible and the memorial is cared for.


Description:

A white marble tablet with mottled black marble frame set into the stone floor. The inscription is incised in black upright roman lettering,with the family arms at the top centre, the badge of the Queens Own Royal Regiment Staffordshire Yeomanry bottom left and the badge of the Household Battalion of the Household Cavalry bottom right.

History and Conservation
13th September, 1967: The church was listed Grade I, Heritage List for England reference 1109764.

August 1970: The Norbury Conservation Area was first designated, and the memorial lies within it.

15th September, 2011: The memorial was surveyed by Roy Branson and Alan Willmot. It was in fair condition and cared for.
