|
Description:
An addition to the lettering on a family gravestone which comprises a tall limestone headstone with a rounded arch top, a spray of foliage in relief in a roundal at the head, and trailing foliage in relief to the side borders. The inscription is inlaid in upright capital, mainly block, lettering. The headstone surmounts an oblong limestone base with chamfered top.

IN LOVING MEMORY OF MARY ANN WEBSTER WHO ENTERED INTO REST SEP 7, 1919 AGED 62 YEARS. ALSO OF PTE. FRED WEBSTER (2ND GRENADIER GUARDS.) SON OF THE ABOVE KILLED IN ACTION AT YPRES EASTER DAY 1916 AGED 22 YEARS. TO LIVE IN HEARTS WE LEAVE BEHIND IS NOT TO DIE. ALSO OF HER HUSBAND JOSEPH WEBSTER WHO ENTERED INTO REST DEC. 4. 1943 AGED 87 YEARS.
