Description:
An addition to the inscription on a family gravestone. The tall oblong limestone headstone has a flat top and a narrow inlaid border. The inlaid inscription is in mainly upright capital block lettering and has the mason’s name at the foot. The headstone surmounts an oblong limestone base with bevelled top.

ALSO GEORGE WILLIAM GREGORY, SON OF THE ABOVE WHO DIED OF WOUNDS SEPT. 29TH. 1917, AGED 27 YEARS INTERRED IN WIMEREUX CEMETERY, FRANCE. RE-UNITED.
