Description:
An oaken panelled triptych containing a white alabaster tablet. When closed, the tall narrow single-panelled volets have no ornamentation, but when open they bear an emblem of a cockerel and crossed keys to the right and left respectively. The central panel is surmounted by a plain cavetto cornice and is divided into two panels. The upper third has a wooden panel bearing a gilded inscription in upright capital roman lettering. The lower two-thirds contains a glazed panel over a white alabaster tablet bearing delicate Moorish carving, with arcades and lattice windows in red, blue and gold and bearing Moorish texts. The three arches of the lower arcade have a crucifix at the centre and names on each side, inscribed in blue and black upright capital roman lettering. The main inscription terminates on the lower rail.
