On the paved area between Queen St and what is sometimes called Fountain St.

Overall condition: Fair. The inscription is legible and the memorial is cared for.

Description:

A traditional temporary well dressing tableau made from flowers and other vegetation pressed into clay held in a wooden frame. The main oblong panel featured a very detailed scene of the intact Coventry Cathedral with searchlight beams in the background against a moonlit night sky. Other parts of the dressing featured local scenes, flowers, etc. The well dressing was displayed for a few days in Summer 2011 and was subsequently dismantled.

History
Summer 2011: The dressing was made by members of the local community and dedicated by the local clergy. It was photographed by Glyn Williams and at the end of the festival it was dismantled.
