Description:

A traditional temporary well dressing tableau made from flowers and other vegetation pressed into clay held in a wooden frame comrising an arch with a recessed panel at the centre. The arch contained the quotation and was surmounted by a finial bearing poppies and a Help for Heroes medal. The centre panel contained a depiction of two soldiers in black silhouette against a yellow sunset. The side panels depicted images of red poppies on a green ground and were surmounted by further finials bearing poppies.
