The Lady Chapel in the north transept, with a wall mounted bronze plaque. The chapel was developed from the historic Chapel of the Guild of St Mary and contains historic carvings, seating and other furnishings.  The accompanying plaque has a plain border and a raised inscription in upright capital block lettering against a stippled background.

THIS ANCIENT CHAPEL OF THE GUILD OF ST. MARY WAS
RESTORED A.D. MCMXXIV. TO THE GLORY OF GOD.
IN REMEMBRANCE OF THE MEN OF TIDESWELL WHO
GAVE THEIR LIVES IN THE GREAT WAR AND
IN THANKFULNESS FOR ALL WHO LOYALLY SERVED
THEIR COUNTRY IN THE MIDST OF MANY AND
GREAT DANGERS AND BY THE MERCY OF GOD
RETURNED IN SAFETY TO THEIR HOMES.

12th July, 1967: The church was listed Grade I, Heritage List for England number 1215255.

2nd September, 1981: The church lies within the Tideswell Conservation Area first designated on that date.

29th January 2014: The memorial was surveyed by Roy Branson and Alan Willmot. It was in fair condition.
